"Epiphany"



The film's characters, young scientist Yuri Morozenko, devote their scientific activities and their lives to the problem of cancer. He works hard in the laboratory, overcoming the resistance of some colleagues, who are guided not by the high interests of science, but by concern for their own well-being. Along the way, Yuri's relationship with his wife Elena, who does not understand her husband, and with Galina are revealed — the hero is connected with her by wonderful memories of the past.



The film contains a lot of arguments about scientific matters, about the mysteries of existence, but the director's penchant for a style that is grandiose and falsely meaningful prevents a convincing embodiment of a serious topic.
